Youth Can Win Prizes for Best Business Ideas at Trent University Business Students Association Event


The Dragon Slayers’ Den part of Trent Entrepreneurship Week

Peterborough youth under age 30 can win prizes by presenting their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of business experts at The Dragon Slayers’ Den, a Trent University Business Students Association Event, on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, beginning at 7 p.m. at Splice, 379 George Street North, Peterborough.

Prizes include a youth Chamber of Commerce membership, lunch with one of the judges, and a Bears’ Lair Connecting with Investors seminar. Presentations begin at 7:30 p.m. and a winner will be announced by 8:30 p.m.

Submissions from the You Innovate Canada Egg Carton Challenge, where Trent University students created useful products from egg cartons, will be on display.

Trent Entrepreneurship Week is hosted by the Trent Business Students Association as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, an international movement to inspire young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity through entrepreneurship.
