CUPE Local 3908 Unit 1 Tentative Agreement Reached

CUPE Local 3908 Unit 1 and Trent University are pleased to announce that a Tentative Agreement between the parties was reached on January 26, 2011.

The new agreement is subject to ratification by the parties.  CUPE will be collecting mail-in ballot votes between February 1st to16th, 2011. Votes will be tallied on February 17, 2011.   The Board of Governors will vote to ratify the Tentative Agreement as soon as possible following ratification by the CUPE membership.

CUPE 3908 Unit 1 represents 210 part-time employees of Trent University in the Province of Ontario (in Peterborough and Oshawa) engaged in teaching, demonstrating, tutoring, or marking in the academic programs of the University.
