Trent University in Oshawa Open House to be held March 18


Prospective Students and Families Invited to Attend,
Learn More about Trent in Oshawa Programs and
New Thornton Road Campus

Trent University in Oshawa will host its annual Spring Open House on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Durham College/UOIT campus location in the Simcoe Building, Room 1210 at 2000 Simcoe St. N. in Oshawa. The Trent in Oshawa office is also open for inquiries throughout the week of March Break, March 15-19, Monday though Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All prospective Trent in Oshawa students and their families are invited and encouraged to attend. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, attend sample mini-lectures, learn about exciting plans for the new Thornton Road campus, and learn more about available student services including academic advising, financial aid, peer mentoring, and more.

Sample mini-lectures begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at noon. These mini-lectures are 15 minutes each. Programs include: Anthropology, Cultural Studies, English, Environmental and Resource Science/Studies, History, Psychology, and Sociology.

Complimentary refreshments will be available. Free parking for the Open House is available in Lots 2 and 3 of the Founders Parking Lot.
