Tickets Still Available for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s May 22 Presentation of “Our Environmental Destiny”

Tickets Moving Fast to See Internationally Renowned Environmental Activist

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Trent University announced today that while more than 1500 tickets have already been sold, seats are still available to see famous environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. present “Our Environmental Destiny” at Memorial Centre on Thursday, May 22, 2008.

“This event offers an unprecedented opportunity for our local community to hear one of the leading environmentalists of our time,” said Dr. Chris Metcalfe, director of the Trent University Institute for Watershed Science. “Mr. Kennedy will be touching on issues that matter deeply to our community, and his presentation promises to become one of the most significant events to take place in Peterborough this year.”

Mr. Kennedy’s presentation is part of a major conference being hosted by Trent University for the International Association of Great Lakes Research that is attracting 500 scientists from around the world from May 19 - 23.
