#FacesofTrentU: International Scholarships and Friendly Student Support
Junu Dimdung, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
“I chose Trent because I was offered a Tuition Levy scholarship, which I am very thankful for. I was attracted to Trent’s small classroom sizes and good science programs. At Trent, there are lots of academic supports like office hours, help desk sessions, and academic skills. These services have helped me a lot, especially during my first two months at university.”
Junu Dimdung, is an international student from Nepal, studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a recipient of a Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship.
One of Junu Dimdung’s favourite things about Trent is the way that the University supports international students in feeling at home. There is always something to look forward to, and many clubs and groups on campus to get involved with.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Dimdung would like to remain in North America to pursue her long-term goal of getting into medical school.
