Executive Compensation Framework at Trent University
Public feedback to inform Trent’s proposed framework will be collected until May 7
In compliance with government requirements for executive compensation, Trent is seeking public feedback and input on the University’s proposed executive compensation framework, which outlines a framework for executive compensation.
Working with the government to develop a responsible and transparent compensation program for the University, all Trent staff, faculty, students, alumni and members of the public are invited to provide feedback on the framework.
Adhering to government requirements, the framework will be posted online for 30 days and input will be collected until Monday, May 7, 2018. Feedback can be submitted to executivecompensation@trentu.ca.
After reviewing and considering the feedback, the University will finalize the policy for the approval by the Board Executive and the Ministry. Subject to Board Executive and Ministry approval, the final approved policy will be posted on the University’s policy website.
Visit Trent’s Executive Compensation Framework webpage for further details and background.
Designated employers are required to post draft executive compensation programs on their public-facing websites for a minimum of 30 days to allow opportunity for public comment. Employers must also establish a process for collecting feedback for consideration when finalizing their programs.
