#FacesofTrentU: Proud to Be at Trent
Brandon Remmelgas, Biology
“Coming to Trent was an amazing decision. From the beginning I met people who were open and friendly, and were as diverse, beautiful, and inclusive as the University is. It was the campus, student groups and clubs, and all the people here who made me feel content with my queer identity and feel comfortable enough to come out.”
Biology graduate Brandon Remmelgas works to make Trent even more accepting and inclusive. As president of the Trent Central Student Association, Mr. Remmelgas is a student representative on a national, provincial, and local stage helping to make Trent, and its groups and services, equitable and accessible for all students so that they too can feel proud to call Trent home.
Trent University prides itself on providing an outstanding personal and interactive learning environment. This story is part of the #FacesofTrentU series, which highlights our many student success stories and the numerous dynamic programs offered at Trent.
