High-Achieving Trent Durham Students Celebrate Their Success
Trent University Durham GTA students take a well-deserved break to attend Academic Achievement Luncheon
High-achieving students took a few moments to enjoy a complimentary lunch and chat with friends and staff at the Academic Achievement Luncheon on March 14. Students from all disciplines, a total of 261 – which is up 50 per cent from the previous year -- who earned an average of 80 per cent or more were invited to celebrate their achievements and received a congratulatory letter presented by the head of Trent University Durham GTA, Joe Muldoon.
“Many Trent University Durham students must balance their academics with other life responsibilities. The fact that these students have managed to reach such a high standard while balancing academics with other considerations makes the achievement all the more impressive,” said academic advisor, Craig Cameron. “Recognizing this achievement not only honours the hard work of the recipient, but also sets a fine example for other students to follow as they too seek to become the best student they can be.”
