Trent University Signs on to Unity Statement
Update from the University Board of Governors
Following a discussion by Members of the University Board of Governors, Trent has added its name to a Unity Statement written in response to public concerns about racism, white supremacy and neo-Nazism – beliefs that Trent unequivocally rejects. In doing so, Trent has joined local School Boards, the Peterborough Police Service, PRHC, and other Peterborough groups, organizations and individuals who have signed the statement to support diversity, inclusion and peace. As an institution, the University is committed to a peaceful, safe, welcoming, and inclusive community.
