All are invited to the Traditional Teachings workshop by Elder Raven Sinclair
Raven Sinclair is a member of George Gordon’s (Kanewonuskatew) First Nation of Treaty #4 of southern Saskatchewan. Raven is a survivor of the Sixties Scoop. She has four degrees, three of which are in Social Work and her areas of interest include Indigenous social work, Indigenous health research and ethics, Indigenous child welfare and youth issues, Indigenous transracial adoption and cultural identity, interpersonal communications, and group process and facilitation.
Raven is passionate about Indigenous knowledge and issues and is interested in furthering the Paleo Social Work agenda. If she was not a social work educator, Raven would be a carpenter or plumber; these are her favourite hobbies. Raven she has an 11 year old daughter who is the centre of her universe.
