Trent-ESL Students Celebrate Graduation

April 2, 2015 marked a major milestone for ten international students in Trent University’s ESL: English for University program. The students, a mix from both the Peterborough and Durham campuses, celebrated their graduation with their instructors and staff members from the International Office at a special luncheon held in their honour.  Dr. Michael Allcott, director of the Trent International program (TIP), presented the graduates with their certificate.

The Trent-ESL program offers students an opportunity to increase their proficiency in English and learn academic skills that will be a vital foundation of their success at Trent. The program is offered at both the Peterborough and Durham campuses, with intakes in August, January, April and June.

Each term, TIP and Trent-ESL congratulates a group of students from around the world on their completion of the English for University program. Trent-ESL graduation takes place each December, April, June, and August.
