Hundreds of Trent University students and a large turnout of local employers and recruiters, 32 in all, attended the “Get Experience Fair” on Tuesday, September 9. Organized by the Career Centre each year, this event provides students with the opportunity to meet local employers and volunteer organizations who are prepared to offer students experience and the chance to learn the skills they need to succeed.

Special thanks to Curtis Morrow, Jay Prajapati, Matthew Henchey, Ya Pan, and Wenfeng Zhao, a  group of Business Administration (BBA) students who helped coordinate this year’s event as part of their fourth year legacy project. A unique component of the BBA program at Trent, the legacy project course allows students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom toward hands-on, real-world initiative.
