Trent University welcomed 1000 visitors to the Fall Open House at the Symons Campus in Peterborough on Saturday, November 5, 2011, where they joined a variety of campus tours, attended free lectures, chatted with faculty and staff, and attended academic and student services fairs.
Dr. Steven E. Franklin, president and vice-chancellor of Trent University, welcomed visitors to the Peterborough campus. Dr. Franklin encourages students and their families to find out more about Trent’s more than 60 programs, specializations and emphases available, and to explore the opportunities provided by both campuses in Peterborough and Oshawa.
"Trent's Open Houses give students an opportunity to explore both our excellent academic programs and our extraordinarily beautiful campus," remarked Dr. Franklin. "Students can sample lectures and interact with faculty from cutting-edge science and social science programs as well as liberal arts and science courses."
To RSVP, please visit www.trentu.ca/openhouse or call 1-888-739-8885.
