Peterborough Regional Science Fair Winners Announced
April 4, 2007

Three PCVS students won top honours at the Peterborough Regional Science Fair held at Trent University on April 10. For their award-winning projects on scary sounds and the effects of hair dye, Mark Onderwater, Farah Tamachi and Grayson Lee will represent the region at the Canada Wide Science Fair (CWSF) to be held in Truro, Nova Scotia in May.

The Peterborough Science FairThe Science Fair enjoyed another successful year at Trent, attracting nearly 300 students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Approximately 140 volunteer judges were involved in evaluating the projects and identifying those of the highest merit. Awards were presented in the Wenjack Theatre at 3 p.m. by a panel of sponsors and committee members.
