Ron Thomís Work at Trent Named Building of the Month by British Society
March 3, 2007
The UK-based Twentieth Century Society has named Ron Thom’s buildings at Trent University their “Building of the Month” for March 2007.
In his profile of Trent, Society member and architect William Fawcett, highlights the campus’ four Ron Thom buildings: Champlain College, the Bata Library, Lady Eaton College, and the Environmental Sciences Building.
“To anyone who knows about British architects and architecture of the 1960s, Trent University is a delightful surprise – familiar yet slightly exotic,” writes Mr. Fawcett.
