T.I.S.A. International Dinner: Mama’s Kitchen

The Trent International Students Association presents Mamas Kitchen, an international dinner taking place on the 27th of January at Trinity Hall at 6 p.m. The international dinner is a revised version of the TISA Potluck which takes place annually.
Join us in TISA’s festival of flavors and allow your taste buds to experience a unique blend of spices form South Asia, satay from South East Asia and tantalizing flavors from the Caribbean, Europe, Japan and South America all under one roof! This event is catered by some of the hottest and popular ethnic restaurants of Peterborough such as Cosmic Charlie's, The Curry Village, Hoshi Japanese Restaurant, La Hacienda, Netwok Buffet and many more!
The night will also feature live ethnic performances such as belly dancers, salsa dancers from various regions around the world not to mention the award winning TISA Choir! Lots of prizes will be given away so it is an event not to be missed out!
This is a charitable event that represents the regional groups of Trent through unique cuisine, where all proceeds will be donated to WUSC (World University Services Canada) Peterborough, in support of their efforts of promoting education. The event is a joint collaboration between TISA and all the international regional groups at Trent including TSEAO, TACSU, HOLA, TMSA, EU and TJA and downtown Peterborough.
