Trent University hosts March Break: Open House - March 16 & 17

Monday, March 15, 2004, Peterborough

Opportunities to talk to professors, find out about residence and tour the campus are all part of March Break at Trent University. The March Break Open House on March 16 and 17 will see prospective students and their families come to campus to learn about the University, its programs and services.

Much behind-the-scenes preparation is taking place and faculty, staff members and students will be on-hand to provide tours and share their perspectives on the Trent University experience.

"A lot of soul searching goes into the quest for the right university," says President Bonnie Patterson. "Prospective students and their families have important questions and at the Open House, there will be many opportunities to have them answered by students, staff and faculty with first-hand knowledge of the University."

Each day is scheduled to kick off with an Information Forum and Academic Fair in the Athletics Complex at 9 a.m. There, representatives from all departments and some clubs, groups and teams will be on-hand. Specific information sessions have also been arranged (see agenda). Those planning to attend the Open House are asked to RSVP to liaison@trentu.ca or 748-1332.

Guided Walking Tours of Trent University's campus will also be offered on March Break Tour Day, to take placeMarch 19, 2004from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those planning to attend the Tour Day are asked to RSVP to liaison@trentu.ca or 748-1332.
