Posting have Trent ties

Included among diplomatic appointments announced last month by the Foreign Affairs Department are the names of two persons associated with Trent.

Mary Simon, former Trent chancellor, remains as ambassador for circumpolar affairs and is now appointed ambassador to Denmark.

Lucie Edwards, an Economics and Political Studies graduate of Trent who was here two years ago as a guest speaker for the Trent International Program, has been appointed high commissioner to South Africa.
