Casual dress helps United Way fund

Once again this year, dressing casually on Fridays at Trent will help the local United Way campaign.

For a donation of $1, employees can help the campaign and dress casually at work through this fund-raiser launched today. Or, employees can pay $5 to dress casually each day of next week, or $4 for four Fridays in a row.

Collectors across the university were also selling United Way raffle tickets on a $2,100 computer system.

The Trent United Way campaign is now at 94 per cent ($48,000) of its $51,000 goal.
