Student receives Ministry award

Matthew J. MacLeod has been awarded the Ministry of the Environment's 1999 Award of Excellence in the Research and Technology Development (Graduate Student) category. He was nominated for his MSc thesis "A strategy for assessing environmental fate and exposure of chemicals." Nominator was Prof. Donald Mackay, Environmental Modelling Centre.

The award is a trophy, presented at a banquet in Toronto by the Minister of the Environment, and a framed certificate.
