Trent Web site wins gold

Trent University's award winning web page has received another prestigious national recognition. Communications department Web developer Maureen Wideman was notified that the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) has judged Trent's home page the best institutional home page in the country. It is the second time in three years that the university has won the top award.

The 2000 Prix d'Excellence gold award will be presented at the ccae annual conference this June in Whistler, B.C.

Wideman said it was a huge honour to win the award given the high quality of other university and college Web sites across Canada.
