Founding President leads parade

Trent's Founding President and Vanier Professor Emeritus, Thomas Symons, will serve as the city's Canada Day Parade Honorary Marshall.

Symons was invited to be Parade Marshall for the final Canada Day celebration of the 20th century, because of his outstanding service to Trent and the Peterborough community, according to city recreationist Barry Larock.
