College-University degree-completion accord

The Ontario College-University Degree-Completion Accord was signed at a ceremony held last month at the Ministry of Education and Training. The accord enhances opportunities for college diploma graduates to earn degrees from Ontario universities. It sets outs a series of principles for developing degree-completion arrangements between the two post-secondary institutions and provides a matrix to guide the creation of degree-completion agreements and degree programs. Each agreement voluntarily developed by universities and colleges will require approval by the relevant governing bodies of the institutions.
