Snowstorm? Listen to the radio

If overnight snow, ice and dangerous road conditions mean the university will not open in the morning, the announcement would be broadcast on the following radio stations:

  • CKPT (1420 AM)
  • Country 105 (105.1 FM)
  • CKRU (980 AM)
  • CKWF (101.5 FM)
  • Trent Radio (92.7 FM)

If the university closes during the day, departmental offices will be notified and are expected to circulate details immediately. Security officers will post notices on doors of major buildings, where possible.

Oshawa students should listen to Oshawa radio stations to find out whether Trent's classes at Durham are cancelled.

In addition, messages are updated on InfoTrent (748-1234) and on the Web site (www.trentu.ca) under News and Events/Announcements.
