Trent Alumnus and Chancellor Heralds the Coming of the Blockchain Revolution
Dr. Don Tapscott launches new book
We’ve reached the second generation of the Internet, and Trent’s chancellor, Don Tapscott is ready to explain its impact on civilization. In his latest book, Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin is Changing Money, Business, and the World, which hits stands today, he explains why blockchain technology will fundamentally change what we can achieve online, how we do it, and who can participate.
The book, co-authored with his son, Alex Tapscott, is set to be a fascinating follow-up to several other ground-breaking works in which Dr. Tapscott explores the economic and social impact of technology. Trent Voices, an interview show run by Alumni House at Trent University, sat down with Dr. Tapscott for a special interview that focused on Blockchain Revolution, the bisecting futures of technology and the global economy, as well as on his ongoing relationship with Trent University. Listen to the full interview and watch for more about Dr. Tapscott’s recent book in the upcoming issue of Trent Magazine.
