Students in need to benefit from
TD Canada Trust donation to Trent University

TD Canada Trust District Vice President Heather Larke's visit to Trent University on March 21st will have an effect on students for years to come.

The TD Bank Financial Group Bursary was established with a donation of $71,500 to help Computer Science students who demonstrate financial need. Ms. Larke presented a cheque of $14,300 to Susan Salusbury, Trent University Registrar, the third of five installments towards donation.

"We are pleased that TD Canada Trust has recognized the need to assist students in furthering their educational goals," said Ms. Salusbury. "Trent is grateful for the role this bank has played in student advancement over the years."

The Beyond Our Walls Campaign has raised more than $17 million and has included the establishment of more than 100 scholarships, bursaries and awards.
