Dr. Peter Adams, MP, to lecture on "Trent, McGill and the North"

Every year the Northern Studies Chair presents an informative series of lectures regarding many aspects of Canada's Northern regions. Founded by an endowment from the Secretary of State, the series was designed to promote a prestigious public speaking series focusing on the north, its peoples, lands, society and science. This year's topic is:

Trent, McGill and the North: A personal memoir by Dr. Peter Adams, MP, Professor Emeritus

Lecture 1: Expeditions to Axel Heilberg Island, Nunavut Thursday, January 17, 7:30 p.m. Peterborough Public Library Auditorium, 345 Aylmer Street North.

Lecture 2: Knob Lake, Quebec - Labrador Thursday, January 24, 7:30 p.m. Bata Library Film Theatre Trent University, Symons Campus

Lecture 3: Science, Politics, Presumptuousness and the North Thursday, January 31, 7:30 p.m. Bata Library Film Theatre Trent University, Symons Campus

All are welcome. There is no charge for these events.
