Trent Summer Sports Camp presents Winter Adventures: December 28 -31

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Winter fun and friendship for kids at Trent University

Friday, December 10, 2004, Peterborough

Add a little snow and some below zero temperatures to the fun and friendship of Trent Summer Sports Camp and what’s in store is Winter Adventures - half and full-day programs for children and youth five to 12 years-old from December 28 to 31.

Winter Adventures activities at Trent University will include water polo, swimming, mini-putt, badminton, hikes and snow football, led by adventure leaders who are experienced counsellors and instructors from the Trent Summer Sports Camp. These leaders bring a wealth of energy and enthusiasm to all camp programs and possess solid backgrounds in the leadership of children and are committed to a safe, caring, and fun-filled camp experience.

“The winter adventures program is a wonderful opportunity for kids to experience our summer camp atmosphere,” says Bruce Emmerton, Camp Director.  “We work hard to create a fun and active environment, and to provide a variety of activities.”

The half-day program, for children five and six years old, runs from 8:45 am to 12:00 noon, and the full-day program operates from 8:45 am to 4:15 pm, and is offered to youth from seven to 12 years of age. Campers can choose to attend for any number of days.
