Calling TIFF volunteers
Volunteers who helped with the Findley conference are invited to an open house Nov. 7 in Traill College lecture hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Photographs, videotapes and printed anecdotes will be on display.

Public swimming
The Marshall Pool is open for public swimming Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:30-11:30 a.m.; Fridays 7-9 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays 4-5 p.m.

        Special rates are available for groups of 10 or more. For information, call 748-1432.

Year in Germany
Two opportunities to study and work in Germany are open to Trent students who can speak some German.

        Seven places are available in the 11-month Trent-Brock Year-Abroad Program in Freiburg. Students study and work at the University of Freiburg. Apply by Jan. 31.

        Fifty spots are open for Ontario university students who are Canadian to study at one of nine universities in Baden-Wueürttemberg. The exchange program includes a one-month immersion course in Heidelberg. Dec. 12 is the application deadline.

Apology
The Fortnightly apologizes for any inconvenience caused to those who turned up Nov. 1 at Peter Robinson College for an evening lecture by Ashley Fellow John Mulvaney. He was scheduled only to speak at a symposium earlier that day.
