Book Launch Celebrates Works of Trent Faculty

Managing Leviathan Book CoverThe Political Studies Department hosted a book launch Thursday, September 15 in the Champlain College Senior Common Room.

Four books were launched at the event. They are:

  • Auto-Ethnographies The Anthropology of Academic Practices edited by Anne Meneley and Donna J. Young
  • A Civil Society? Collective Actors in Canadian Political Life by Miriam Smith
  • Cultural Aging Life Course, Lifestyle and Senior Words by Stephen Katz
  • Managing Leviathan, Second Edition Environmental Politics and the Administrative State edited by Robert Paehlke and Douglas Torgerson

The event was co-sponsored by the Anthropology Department, Broadview Press, Canadian Studies, Cultural Studies, Environmental Resources Science Studies, Political Studies, Sociology, Theory, Culture and Politics and the Trent University Faculty Association.
