Great Composers and their Masterpieces: Public Field Trip

The Great Composers and their Masterpieces course, offered through Trent University's Continuing Education department, will once again be making its field trip component open to the public. This term the course will be heading to Toronto to see an evening performance by the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Raffi Armenian on April 9. The cost of the trip, including the performance and transportation is $34 per person. Please contact Melanie Sedge, Continuing Education, Trent University 748-1011 ext. 5055 for further information.

The program for the evening is:

Nicolai: Merry Wives of Windsor Overture

Stravinsky: Firebird Suite

Prokofiev: Violin Concerto #1

Dinner

We will arrive at the corner of Bloor and Avenue Rd. at approx. 5:30 p.m. and provide you with a map of the area marked with restaurants within walking distance. Dinner is at your own arrangement and expense.

Transportation

Transportation by motor coach will be provided. The coach will depart from and return to Royal Gardens Retirement Community, 1160 Clonsilla Ave.

Bus Loading 3:45 p.m.

Departure: 4 p.m.

Bus Arrives Toronto: 5:30 p.m.
