Summer Job and Volunteer Fair

The Career Centre is hosting the Annual Summer Job and Volunteer Fair:

When: Wednesday, February 2, 2005, 11:00am -3:00p.m.
Where: Peter Gzowski College at Symons Campus

Come prepared to speak with employers, volunteer agencies and on-campus departments about their summer opportunities. Some organizations will be holding preliminary interviews at the fair - so be sure to bring your updated resume! Want to be extra prepared? Attend the Networking Works! Workshop, which discusses how to prepare for a career event. See our website for dates and times.

Aboriginal and Native Studies Students' Career Fair

Wednesday, January 26, 2005
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
in the First Peoples Gathering Space
Enweying Room 102

Representatives from:
Customs and Revenue Canada; RCMP; Union of Ontario Indians; Centre for Indigenous Theatre; Indigenous Health Research Development Program; Trent Graduate Studies; York Environmental Studies Graduate Program

There will be a demonstration by the Canada Customs drug dog handler at 12:00 p.m.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a lunch will be provided at noon.

The Trent Career Centre is looking for students' opinions on the value of career services. Take 2-3 minutes to answer our online survey or attend one of our focus groups.

Focus groups will be held:
Mon. Jan. 31, 2005, 2-3pm and
Thurs. Feb. 3, 2005, 1-2pm.

All focus group participants will receive a free Career Planning workbook.
