Discover Women in Environmental Science

Environmental Science Industry Info Session

Are you curious to know what a career in Environmental Science is like? Want to meet role models in the field?

On Thursday, October 14, 2004, the Women in Leadership Foundation and Trent University's Career Centre present an Environmental Science Industry Info Session – "Discover Women in Environmental Science". The session will take place in Otonabee College room 203, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Both the Trent community and general public are invited to meet a panel of accomplished women from the environmental science sector. Panelists include: Catherine Jefferson, Director and CEO of Curry Jefferson & Associates Environmental Services Inc.; Helen Ball, Peterborough Area Management Biologist, Ministry of Natural Resources; and Judy Gibbens, Project Coordinator, Watershed Science Centre, Trent University. Professor Erica Nol of Trent University will moderate the panel.

Attendees will get an insider perspective on tips for success and discover areas of opportunity, along with answers to their questions during an interactive question and answer period. Light refreshments will be provided.
