Express Your Trent Spirit Everywhere You Go
How, you ask? Joe Teft, Trent's TD Meloche Monnex Advancement Fellow, is spearheading the Trent license plate project, in celebration of the University's 40th anniversary this year. The Trent license plate design is yet to be developed, but would feature the University logo. "With the Trent license plate, we would not only be raising the profile of the University, with almost limitless boundaries, we would be raising funds for the University," says Mr. Teft, adding that $2 from the sale of each license plate would come to Trent. At this point, Mr. Teft if trying to gauge how much interest there would be in the creation of a license plate, which would cost $52 to purchase. He is working with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation on a three-year business plan, but requires the interest of at least 100 individuals before he can proceed. It is expected the license plate would be available a year from now.
