German Studies At Trent

Here at Trent we teach the language, the culture and the literature of the German-speaking countries. 

Small classes, dedicated instructors, and a friendly atmosphere ensure that students receive individual attention and that their different learning styles are recognized and accommodated. 

In our language and literature classes we speak German as much as possible in an environment that facilitates learning and makes it an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Classroom learning is supplemented and enriched by many extra-curricular activities organized by our faculty, by Trent German Studies students or by our German exchange students from Freiburg. There are many opportunities to practise one's German inside and outside the class room.
