The Libris database provides word, title, author and subject access to material published in a number of Canadian periodicals of historical significance, including Maclean's Magazine, The Financial Post, The Monetary Times of Canada, Massey's Magazine, The Canadian Bookman, The Canadian Magazine, Saturday Night and The University Magazine.

For students, researchers and the general public, the database is nothing less than a window into the social and cultural life of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Libris is growing, and currently contains some 250,000 citations, with annotations (and for Maclean's Magazine, comprehensive abstracts).

Champlain Society Digital Collection

The collection contains 101 of the Champlain Society's volumes (almost 50,000 printed pages) dealing with exploration and discovery over three centuries. It includes first-hand accounts of Samuel de Champlain's voyages in New France as well as the diary from Sir John Franklin's first land expedition to the Arctic, 1819-22.

Canadian Documents Collection

This is a collection of documents and reports from Canadian research institutes, government agencies and university centres working in the areas of health and public policy. The organizations included in this collection are active publishers of primary research in the field. The publications included are both general policy documents as well as those of a specialized technical nature.

There are presently over 37,000 documents in this collection and more are added each year.

The collection is searchable by title, author, subject, publisher, and full text. It can also be browsed by subject category - click on the "Browse" tab.

All titles in this collection are also available through TOPCAT, with links to the online document.

Caninuit is an annotated source of information about the magazines, journals, newspapers and newsletters of Canada's Inuit peoples and communities. This web site was created in 2008 and the annotations are being updated and augmented regularly by the editor. Caninuit can be browsed by title or category, or searched in anyword (Find) mode.

Most entries in the Caninuit database reference periodical publications which deal predominently with Canadian Inuit and their communities. Some entries describe library catalogues, indexes, bibliographies, and other sources of information about Inuit periodicals.
