MaDGIC Workshop: Spatializing the Research Process

When: 10 February 2017, 11 a.m. to 12 noon

Where: AJM Smith Conference Room, Bata Library, Room 107.2

This workshop will provide guidance for those who wish to incorporate geospatial data and/or GIS technologies into their coursework, thesis, or research project. Discussion will focus on critical issues to address when incorporating these resources at each step of the research process. Topics covered include data discovery and selection, data quality issues, data storage and management considerations, coordinate system selection, analysis, and visualization.
