ProQuest: Planned Outage Starting Saturday February 15

Posted on: February 4, 2014

On February 15, 2014 ProQuest will make improvements to its internal systems to accommodate a growing number of users and to reduce the need for future downtime.  A planned outage is scheduled for eight hours, starting at 10pm (Ontario time) on Saturday February 15.

None of the ProQuest databases will be available during this time, including e-journal content within ProQuest databases.  Access should be restored early Sunday morning.

RefWorks is also a ProQuest product, but because Ontario University libraries work from a Scholars Portal server, our RefWorks service will not be affected by the outage.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  This is beyond the Library's control, but we understand that it's necessary work to avoid unplanned outages at much more busy times.
