New Resource: PhilPapers

Posted on October 8, 2014

We've recently subscribed to a new resource geared toward Philosophy: PhilPapers.

PhilPapers is a comprehensive index of philosophy books and articles. It offers unique features such as real-time indexing of pre-prints, fine-grained classification by topic, email alerts, reading lists, advanced search functionality, and discussion forums.

PhilPapers uses advanced trawling techniques and large-scale crowd-sourcing to monitor all sources of research content in philosophy, including journals, books, personal pages, and open access archives.  It is non-profit and offers great value to researchers.

Check the "What You Can Do" page to see the options available.  There are benefits to both researchers and authors.

Find a link to PhilPapers on the Databases A-Z, on relevant Subject Guides, and in TOPCAT.

This subscription is part of an OCUL consortial purchase.
