Trent University Library & Archives continues to offer electronic collections and virtual services. As part of the University’s limited and reduced campus presence, Bata Library and the Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre are closed and physical collections are unavailable. Virtual services and support are available by contacting library@trentu.ca. Check for updates regularly on our COVID-19 Alert Page.

Curbside Pickup for Faculty & Graduate Students is available starting June 23rd.

Write-N-Cite for RefWorks

Write-N-Cite 3 will be installed on the lab computers over Reading Week.  Use it with Word to create citations within the text as you write your paper.  Make sure you have all your sources loaded into RefWorks before you begin.

Write-N-Cite 4 is also available, but still a little "glitchy".  You can download it for yourself, but it won't be on the lab computers yet.

The new WNC 4 is much more intuitive, fully integrated into the Word platform (i.e. no longer displayed as a separate webpage), formatting citations as you write, and automatically creating a bibliography at the end of your document.  It's available for PC or Mac.

You can download WNC 4 from within your RefWorks account, by looking under the Tools menu.

See the Write-N-Cite guide for more details.
