Online Journals Site - Outage Starting Saturday March 1

Posted on: February 19, 2014

Some major online journal platforms will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday March 1, 2014 - starting at 11am and continuing for up to 16 hours. This planned maintenance is required for improvements in storage.

During this time, no content will be available from the publisher's sites.  Some of the affected journals are duplicated on other sites, which are not affected by the outage.  See the list below.  Get It! Trent and TOPCAT provide the option to select the appropriate source.

The following databases are affected:

Taylor & Francis Online Journals

  • This is the direct access point for over 1,000 online journals from the publisher Taylor & Francis.
  • All Taylor & Francis e-journals will be unavailable during this time.
  • Unfortunately, due to license restrictions, the content is not available from any other site.

BioOne

  • This includes about 100 biology journals on the BioOne site.
  • These journals will continue to be available on the ProQuest and Scholars Portal Journals sites during the outage.

Annual Reviews

  • The Annual Reviews site will be unavailable.
  • This collection of scholarly journals will continue to be available on the Scholars Portal Journals site during the outage.

We apologize for this inconvenience, which is beyond our control.
