GIS Day / Geography Awareness Week Exhibit

EXHIBIT THEME: The Possibilities of Using GIS and Related Spatial Techologies in Research

GIS Day is held around the world during Geography Awareness Week to celebrate the contributions of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geographical knowledge to understanding the world.

As part of its ongoing commitment to support the development and integration of geospatial technologies across academic disciplines, Trent University Library has mounted an exhibit showing a selection of maps and posters completed by Trent students, faculty and the library. 

The exhibit provides an opportunity to take a closer look at how GIS and other spatial technologies are being used by the Trent University community in a range of disciplines.

DATES: Monday, November 14, 2016 (starting at 12 noon) to Friday, November 25, 2016 (ending at 12 noon).

LOCATION: Exhibit Case located at the Entrance to Thomas J. Bata Libary, Trent University. For directions, see our campus map.

HOURS: The exhibit can be viewed during library hours of operation
