Bata Library Collaborative Space Now Open

The Library & Archives, the Centre for Teaching and Learning and Information Technology are pleased to announce the newly renovated Bata Library Collaborative Space (BL 201) is open for use as of Wednesday, March 30th. The Bata Library Collaborative Space (BL 201) is an active learning room on the second floor of Bata Library funded in part through a generous donation by David and Joan Moore. This proof of concept project supports collaboration and learning with wireless technology and configurable and accessible furniture.

This space is now available for bookings by students, staff and faculty and may be reserved through the online room booking portal. The room may be used for workshops, teaching, training, and meetings and  provides an ideal space for students to collaborate, practice presentation skills and meet for group projects. The new space is furnished with specialized furniture that is adaptable to different configurations to meet the needs of the activity and groups in the room.

Please refer to the Collaborative Space Guidelines for Use and the Getting Started Guide which provides instruction on using the technology in the room.
