The information provided below is relevant for libraries wishing to borrow material from Trent University Library.  Requests will not be accepted from individual researchers, so please contact your local library about your research needs.

Lending Policy

Material Types

Monographs, Government Documents & Microforms:

  • Will lend for up to 12 weeks usage from the date of receipt, renewal request will be considered. All items are subject to recall
  • Will provide copy

Serials, Archives, Reference, Reserves & Special Collections:

  • Not for loan
  • May provide copy

Media:

  • Available for loan to Ontario Interfilm Group Members only

Charges

Loans:

  • OCUL, BCI, CAUL, and COPPUL no charge;
  • Canadian libraries $10.00;
  • Foreign libraries $20.00.

Copies:

  • OCUL, BCI, CAUL, and COPPUL no charge;
  • Canadian libraries $10.00;
  • Foreign libraries $10.00.

Replacement:

  • A replacement or lost item fee of $125.00 for lost or damaged items.
