Trent University Library & Archives continues to offer electronic collections and virtual services. As part of the University’s limited and reduced campus presence, Bata Library and the Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre are closed and physical collections are unavailable. Virtual services and support are available by contacting library@trentu.ca. Check for updates regularly on our COVID-19 Alert Page.

Curbside Pickup for Faculty & Graduate Students is available starting June 23rd.

Extended Hours

In support of the student examination period, the Bata Library offers extended hours beyond our regular limited service hours.

During extended hours, library users may be required to show a valid TrentU Card in order to gain entry and/or remain in the library during extended hours. Uniformed security personnel will be present to ensure all library users feel safe and to provide assistance in the event of a medical or personal safety emergency.  Library users are expected to comply with Library policies  at all times.

Library services available during extended hours included: access to the general collections, study areas, computing facilities, and group study rooms.  Library books may be signed out using the self-checkout kiosk by the Service Desk.

The Service Desk is CLOSED during extended hours.  Please consult the Library Hours and the Bata Library Service Hours for details on limited service and extended hours.

For research assistance, please email library@trentu.ca and a subject Librarian will respond to your inquiry during regular library hours.

For IT support, please review the IT Contact options.

Additional bus service is made possible with support and funding from the Trent Central Students Association (TCSA).   Students are advised to consult the bus schedule daily for information about any changes to the extended service schedule.
