Welcome to Trent University’s Compensation and Job Evaluation information source. In keeping with our Mission to deliver the highest quality and most efficient service possible for the University Community, the Department of Human Resources endeavours to redress gender discrimination in the compensation of female job classes by way of a gender neutral comparison process.
A Job Evaluation System has been designed and is in place to objectively and systematically place a relative value on jobs (ie: OPSEU, Local 365 and Exempt positions) within the University in order to form a rational basis for fair and equitable pay, and in its application, maintain pay equity as required by the Pay Equity Act [RSO 1990].
