Mental Health in the Workplace

Trent University actively supports the mental health and well-being of its staff and faculty. Mental health issues affect all Canadian workplaces, and the cost of doing nothing – both in personal and economic terms – is substantial. The Department of Human Resources, in collaboration with the Student Wellness Centre, are working together to raise awareness about mental health in the workplace and creating an environment of wellness and health for everyone at the University. Please visit the Mental Health in the Workplace website for more information and resources.

 University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP)

Any employee or person working at Trent University is eligible for the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) if they are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).  Coverage is mandatory for those who are not covered under OHIP.
