Trent University Leadership Development Fund

Thanks to a generous contribution from an alumna and donor, a new leadership development fund has been established at Trent. The Trent University Leadership Development Fund will bridge the gap between current financial constraints and the recognized need to enhance the leadership capacity of Trent employees.

Currently targeted towards exempt and academic staff in emerging or current leadership roles, the fund will enable personal or collective leadership learning opportunities. Core leadership competencies include the ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, innovate, and apply strategic solutions.

The fund is designed to help cover the costs of programs such as McMasters Certificate in Advanced Leadership & Management or the Centre for Higher Education Research & Development based at the University of Manitoba. The fund may also help cover the cost of conferences, workshops, travel, retreats, credit or not-for-credit courses.
