Internet service at Trent University is a High speed internet is provided by Atria Networks. The cost of internet is included in residence fees.
Residents using Trent IT or Housing Services equipment (including, but not limited to the ResNet and telephone service provided in the room) are responsible for following Trent Acceptable Use and Atria’s ResNet’s Acceptable Use Policy and the Criminal
Code of Canada.
MyTRENT
Your Trent University account is established when the Office of the Registrar receives your application.
If you have received an Offer of Admission, you must accept your Offer of Admission before you will be able to register for classes. You will be able to register for classes according to the following schedule:
Students entering Trent in September will be able to use their account to begin registering for classes after July 1st.
Students entering Trent in January will be able to use their account to begin registering for classes within one week of accepting their Offer of Admission.
Students entering Trent in Spring session will be able to use their account to begin registering for classes by early March.

Symons Campus
You will need a standard Ethernet cord – 3 metres long. Our bookstore and the TCSA (Trent Central Student Association) office will have some for sale, but we would suggest you bring your own.
