How to Submit Payments

Cheques must be made payable to 'Trent University' and have the student name and number written on the front.

$30 Application Fee

Preferred Methods of Payment:

  • Payment can be made over the phone (705) 748-1011 X 7127 or by fax (705) 748-1109 with a credit card. Please note that we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Payments that are faxed in require the credit card number, name and signature of the credit card holder, as well as the student’s information.
  • Payments can be made through online through the link embedded in the application.
  • Payment can also be made by mailing a cheque or money order to Housing Services made payable to ‘Trent University’, 1600 West Bank Drive, Peterborough ON K9J 7B8  or by cash or debit in person in the Housing Office.

$500 Residence Advance Payment- This payment is due AFTER you have been sent your Residence Assignment.

 

Balance of Residence Fees

  • The balance of the residence payments (total cost minus the $500 advance payment) are paid to the Student Accounts Office not to Housing Services. These fees are due at the same time as the tuition payments and can be paid by credit card over the phone, or by mailing a cheque or money order. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Trent University’.
  • The Student Accounts Office will be sending you a bill that will have the fees broken down, but they way they calculate the 60% is by taking 60% of the total amount and then subtracting $500 from it. The $500 is not subtracted from the total price first.

 

Telephone/Internet Bills

  • Fees for high speed internet, local telephone calling, 250 minutes of long distance calling in North America, and many telephone features including call waiting, call answer and more, are included in your residence fees. Any fees for additional long distance calling within or outside of North America are payable to Nexicom, our telephone service provider. Please visit www.nexicom.net/trent.
  • Our internet service provider is Peterborough Utilities Inc. (PUI) and can be emailed with questions to resnet@pui.ca.
